Temple Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 60-34 to the Brevard Christian War Eagles. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Temple Christian Academy lost, don't look at Casey Merritt. Despite the final result, he went 8-for-17 on his way to 19 points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave Merritt a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Hall, who posted five points and nine boards.

Temple Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Brevard Christian, they now have a winning record of 16-15.
