Volleyball Recap: John Jay Wins Going Away Against Brewster

John Jay not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 29th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Brewster Bears as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-20, 25-14.

Peyton Kellam paced John Jay's offense, picking up 13 kills. Kellam got some help from Margaret Bojarczuk and her 16 assists. Kellam also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Jaeda Lisi, each putting up four.

John Jay's victory bumped their record up to 25-5-2. As for Brewster, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

John Jay has already played their next match (against Greeley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Brewster, they will venture away from home to take on Arlington at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
