Soccer Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Trinity Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Geneva Knights, falling 7-1. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 8-2 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Their goal came courtesy of Joshua Ayala, which was the first he's scored this season.

Trinity Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Geneva, their win bumped their record up to 3-4-1.

Trinity Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Crooms Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Geneva, they will be home for the holidays to greet Altamonte Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
