Baseball Recap: Sacred Heart Comes Up Short

Sacred Heart managed to slip by Northwest the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Gremlins lost 10-4 to the Mustangs on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Gremlins have suffered since March 15, 2024.

Sacred Heart has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Northwest, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 13-6.

Coming up, Sacred Heart will face off against Cole Camp at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northwest, they will take on Lincoln at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in the Mustangs' favor as the team sits on six straight wins at home while the Cardinals have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
