Basketball Recap: Page County Comes Up Short

Page County was the 58-42 winner over Luray when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Page County Panthers took a 49-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Luray Bulldogs on Wednesday. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly 11 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Page County and nudges their season record down to 4-10. As for Luray, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Page County will host Madison County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Page County is facing Madison County at the right time seeing as Madison County is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Luray, they will be playing at home against Strasburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Strasburg will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Luray surely won't give up without a fight.
