After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fort Fairfield, Wisdom was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Madawaska Owls. The victory was some much needed relief for the Pioneers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Wisdom's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Madawaska, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Wisdom is set to square off against their familiar foe Fort Fairfield at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Madawaska will challenge rival Washburn at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
