Dublin Scioto suffers fifth straight loss at home

The Dublin Scioto Irish's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Columbus Academy, falling 60-28. Dublin Scioto was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
When it comes to explaining why Dublin Scioto lost, one person who can't be blamed is Lyla Magnussen. Despite the final result, she scored ten points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Dublin Scioto dropped their record down to 7-12 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Columbus Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-10.
Dublin Scioto will square off against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Franklin Heights is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Columbus Academy, they will be playing at home against the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
