After losing to Era the last time they met, Nocona decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Indians were the clear victors by a 12-5 margin over the Hornets on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won four contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Nocona and bumps their season record up to 6-6. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-14-2 Chico and 4-9-3 Era. As for Era, they dropped their record down to 4-9-3 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Nocona is set to square off against their familiar foe Alvord at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Era will challenge rival Chico at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
