Softball Recap: Taylor Comes Up Short

Taylor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Gateway College Preparatory Gators, falling 9-1. If the Ducks were looking for revenge after losing 12-0 to the Gators when the teams met back in May of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Taylor's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Gateway College Preparatory, they pushed their record up to 15-1-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Taylor and Gateway College Preparatory will both be playing Marble Falls the next time they take the field. Taylor will host Marble Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Gateway College Preparatory will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
