Laurel is a perfect 10-0 against Aliquippa since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Spartans will host the Quips at 4:15 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Laurel's last matchup with Ellwood City could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Thursday. The Spartans came up short against the Wolverine, falling 10-3. The Spartans have struggled against the Wolverine recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Tyler Shearer made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Aliquippa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 11-5 to Northgate.

Laurel's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Aliquippa, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
