Basketball Recap: Jacksonville Christian Academy Snags Ninth Win in Last 12 Games

Jacksonville Christian Academy had won two straight games and Nylah Moore did her part to make it three on Friday. The Jacksonville Christian Academy Conquerors blew past the Pitt County P Pacers 55-8 thanks in part to Moore, who went 11 for 19 on her way to 26 points in addition to seven steals and five assists. The contest was her 27th in a row with at least ten points.

Violette Smith was another key player, putting up seven points. Those seven points gave her a new career-high.

Jacksonville Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.1 points per game. As for Pitt County P, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Jacksonville Christian Academy will host Pamlico Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pitt County P, they will head out on the road to square off against Mount Calvary Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
