Basketball Game Recap: Heritage Academy vs. Frederick Warriors

Frederick Warriors lost to the Heritage Academy Eagles in the teams' previous meeting last November, but they didn't allow Heritage Academy the same satisfaction this time around. Frederick Warriors came out on top against Heritage Academy by a score of 66-56 on Tuesday. That was the first win for Frederick Warriors since their victory over Loudoun County HomeSchool four weeks ago.

Frederick Warriors' win brought them up to 4-8. The loss dropped the Eagles' record to 14-5.

Frederick Warriors is on the road again in two weeks and plays against Frederick Force. Frederick Warriors won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings. The Eagles have the luxury of staying at home another game and will welcome Grace Academy next week. Heritage Academy has the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
