Several Owls players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brady Hughes, who threw for 264 yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a rushing score. John Painter was Hughes' top target, picking up 102 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Bartlett will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Collierville at 7:00 p.m. on September 6th. As for Memphis University School, they will look to take advantage of their home-field for the first time this season as they take on Melrose at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
