Soccer Game Preview: East Lansing vs. Okemos

East Lansing hasn't had much luck against Okemos recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Trojans will host Wolves at 7:00 p.m.

East Lansing took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They never let Ovid-Elsie get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. East Lansing might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by four goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Okemos has been on a difficult stretch since their win on March 15. They and Stoney Creek finished up their game with a 1-1 draw on Saturday. The win was some much needed relief for Okemos as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

East Lansing pushed their record up to 3-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those three contests. Okemos' draw gives them a new season record of 1-4-2.
