Volleyball Recap: Alexandria Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Alexandria couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Cherokee County Warriors by a score of 3-2 on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the fifth time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-2 defeat last Tuesday.

Cherokee County found their leader in freshman Jesslyn Hincy, who had 11 digs.

Alexandria's defeat dropped their record down to 39-8. As for Cherokee County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 48-8-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Alexandria nor Cherokee County have any future games scheduled.
