Basketball Game Preview: Okanogan Bulldogs vs. Waterville Shockers

The Okanogan Bulldogs and the Waterville Shockers will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Waterville is hoping to do what Colville couldn't on Friday: put an end to Okanogan's winning streak, which now stands at four games. Okanogan blew past Colville, posting a 96-63 win. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 32 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Waterville). They walked away with a 62-49 victory over Pateros on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Shockers.

Okanogan's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. As for Waterville, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Okanogan against Waterville when the teams last played back in February of 2015, as the team secured an 80-43 victory. Does Okanogan have another victory up their sleeve, or will Waterville turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
