Soccer Recap: Beecher Takes a Loss

Beecher managed to keep up with Peotone until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Bobcats lost 4-1 to the Blue Devils. Beecher have struggled against Peotone recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Beecher's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Peotone, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beecher will square off against Chicago Christian at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Beecher are facing Chicago Christian at the right time seeing as Chicago Christian are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Peotone, they will challenge Wilmington at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Peotone will be up against Wilmington's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.55 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
