Softball Recap: Dekaney Takes a Loss

Dekaney fell victim to Spring and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 18-0 to the Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-0 back in March.

Dekaney has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Spring, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 13-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Dekaney will face off against rival MacArthur at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Spring is set to square off against their familiar foe Nimitz at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
