Football Recap: Penns Valley Area Rams vs. Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers
Penns Valley Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 34-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers. One positive for the Rams, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

It was another big night for Sam Mcdonald, who rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries, and also picked up 116 receiving yards and a touchdown for Philipsburg-Osceola. The dominant performance gave Mcdonald a new career-high in rushing yards. Jayden Jones was another key rusher, rushing for 84 yards and a touchdown.
Penns Valley Area's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Philipsburg-Osceola, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
