Football Recap: Palatka Comes Up Short on the Road Against Santa Fe

Palatka had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. The matchup between them and the Santa Fe Raiders didn't end well, with the Palatka Panthers falling 19-0.

Brooke Zeller had an outrageously good game for Santa Fe as she threw for 142 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 55 yards and one touchdown on only six carries. Zeller didn't just play on offense: she also picked up a sack and made six total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palatka will challenge Flagler Palm Coast at 7:00 p.m. on February 25th. As for Santa Fe, they will take on Newberry at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
