Creekside had won ten straight home games dating back to last season and Scott Miller did his part to make it 11 on Wednesday. The Creekside Knights walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Nease Panthers for which the team can thank Miller, who had 19 digs and seven assists. That's the most assists he has posted since back in May of 2024.
Creekside got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The final score came out to 25-23, 29-31, 25-20, 25-21.
Creekside's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Nease, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Creekside and Tocoi Creek will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 6:30 p.m. on March 26th. Nease will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Menendez at 6:30 p.m. on March 25th. Nease is facing Menendez at the right time seeing as Menendez is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
