The Boca Raton Bobcats had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against Miami by a score of 56-47 on Monday. Winning may never get old, but Boca Raton sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Boca Raton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Seanna Crooks, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Crooks is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tatyana Campise-pinkney, who scored 18 points.
Boca Raton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. As for Miami, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-10.
Boca Raton's road trip will continue as they head out to face Doral Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 22nd. One thing working in Doral Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four contests. Miami does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
