Basketball Recap: Glenn Takes a Loss

Glenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the East Forsyth Eagles, falling 58-25. The Bobcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-10.

East Forsyth's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Landry Tsujii led the charge by putting up four points. Alyssa Jessup was another key player, posting seven points and seven rebounds.

Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-18. As for East Forsyth, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Coming up, Glenn will square off against Davie at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Davie knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Glenn likes a good challenge. As for East Forsyth, they will head out to square off against West Forsyth at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
