Soccer Recap: Dyer County Falls to Ripley in First Game of Season

Dyer County had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Ripley Tigers on Saturday. The Choctaws were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Ripley and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dyer County will face off against Dyersburg at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ripley, they will square off against Liberty Tech Magnet at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
