Akron-Fairgrove hadn't done well against Caseville recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Vikings sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Eagles. This was a revenge game for the Vikings: when they faced off against the Eagles last Tuesday, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Akron-Fairgrove has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-10-2 record this season. As for Caseville, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-10.

Coming up, Akron-Fairgrove will head out on the road to square off against Owendale-Gagetown at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Caseville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
