Volleyball Recap: River Christian Comes Up Short

River Christian lost against Sugar Hill Christian Academy back in August of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Royals lost 3-0 to the Stallions. The shutout was out of character for the Royals seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-17, 25-6.

This is the second loss in a row for River Christian and nudges their season record down to 3-6. As for Sugar Hill Christian Academy, the win (which was their 18th in a row) raised their record to 21-5.

River Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Promise Prepatory Academy on the 29th. As for Sugar Hill Christian Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Varsity Opponent on the 30th.
