The Oak Glen Golden Bears will square off against the Cameron Dragons at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Oak Glen is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

On Saturday, Oak Glen came up short against Trinity Christian and fell 10-5.

Oak Glen saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camm Dittman, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Lucas Zoellers was another, going 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Cameron beat Notre Dame 6-3 on Saturday.

Wes Starcher spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on two hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Kason Angel was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Hunter Evans, who went 2-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Oak Glen now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Cameron, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Oak Glen has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Cameron struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 6.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Oak Glen skirted past Cameron 5-3 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Will the Golden Bears repeat their success, or do the Dragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
