Baseball Recap: Navajo Picks Up 13th Straight Win at Home

Navajo had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Sunday. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Seiling Wildcats. Considering the Indians have won 21 contests by more than five runs this season, Sunday's blowout was nothing new.

Navajo pushed their record up to 24-3 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.4 runs over those games. As for Seiling, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-7.

Navajo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seiling, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 17-0 victory against Wetumka on the 4th.
