Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kanab). They were the clear victor by a 15-2 margin over the Milford Tigers on Monday. The Cowboys haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Brogun Virostko was incredible, scoring three runs while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Latimer Glover was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Kanab was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .389. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Milford only posted a batting average of .211.

Kanab's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-3. As for Milford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Kanab beat Milford by a score of 8-5 later that day.
