Baseball Recap: St. Paul Lutheran's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If St. Paul Lutheran was riding high fresh off their 13-1 takedown of Sweet Springs last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. St. Paul Lutheran fell 5-1 to the Lafayette County Huskers on Friday. The Saints have struggled against the Huskers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Paul Lutheran fell to 2-1. As for Lafayette County, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Paul Lutheran will challenge Wellington-Napoleon at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lafayette County, they will square off against Lawson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
