After soaring to ten runs the game before, Magnolia was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They came up short against the Monroe Central Seminoles, falling 16-0. Magnolia's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Monroe Central, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Magnolia wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-5 victory against Williamstown on the 10th. As for Monroe Central, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-3 loss against Martins Ferry on the 11th.
