Soccer Recap: Hardin-Jefferson Takes a Loss

Hardin-Jefferson fought the good fight in their overtime game against Bridge City on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 3-1 to the Bridge City Cardinals. The defeat continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now lost five in a row.

Hardin-Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Bridge City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hardin-Jefferson will venture away from home to face off against Jasper at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hardin-Jefferson is facing Jasper at the right time seeing as Jasper is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bridge City, they will head out on the road to challenge Lumberton at 7:00 p.m. on February 25th.
