Bellingham has gone a perfect 5-0 against Blaine recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bayhawks will square off against the Borderites at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Bellingham is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Mount Vernon just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, Bellingham can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 159th, while Mount Vernon are ranked 24th).

Meanwhile, Blaine came up short against Ferndale on Tuesday, falling 4-1.

Blaine's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11-1. As for Bellingham, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8-2.

Everything went Bellingham's way against Blaine in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, as Bellingham made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bayhawks since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
