Needles put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the White Pine Bobcats 77-24. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 22 points or more this season.

Needles got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Darrell Russell out in front who went 7 for 14 en route to 17 points and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Holden Jones, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 13 points and four steals.

Needles smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in four consecutive matchups.

Needles' win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.5 points. As for White Pine, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Needles has already played their next contest, a 73-55 victory against Lincoln County on the 18th. As for White Pine, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-45 win against Laughlin on the 18th.
