Oakland-Craig came tearing into Thursday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Pender Pendragons with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Oakland-Craig was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-18, 25-21.

Oakland-Craig can attribute much of their success to Madeline Pearson, who had eight digs and three aces. That's the most aces Pearson has posted since back in September.

Pearson wasn't the only good servers: Oakland-Craig was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in five consecutive matches.

Oakland-Craig's record is now 22-6. As for Pender, their loss dropped their record down to 13-10.

Oakland-Craig wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Wisner-Pilger on the 16th. As for Pender, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Homer on the 14th.
