Football Recap: Abbott Panthers vs. Oglesby Tigers
Abbott had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They claimed a resounding 68-40 win over the Oglesby Tigers on the road.
Despite the loss, Oglesby still got an impressive performance from Kyler Fossett, who rushed for 242 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 109 yards and a touchdown while completing 83.3% of his passes. Fossett's longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.
