Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Evergreen). They blew past the Foster Bulldogs 20-2 on Monday. Considering the Wolverines have won four games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Jose Cardenas made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Cardenas was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.
