Volleyball Recap: Holy Cross Beats Meade County for Their Third Straight Victory

Holy Cross had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Meade County Green Waves.

Holy Cross never let Meade County on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22.

Maya Hayden paced Holy Cross' offense, picking up nine kills. Hayden got some help from Lacey Hunt and her 16 assists.

Holy Cross' victory bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Meade County, their loss dropped their record down to 14-12.

Holy Cross didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against North Bullitt on the 4th. As for Meade County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Marion County on the 4th.
