Volleyball Recap: Shadow Ridge Takes a Loss

Shadow Ridge lost against Millennium last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Stallions lost 3-0 to the Tigers. The Stallions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shadow Ridge was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22, 25-13.

Despite the defeat, Shadow Ridge saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jaisen Brown had 11 digs and four assists.

Shadow Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 9-25. As for Millennium, their victory bumped their record up to 20-14.

Shadow Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Millennium, they will square off against Rincon/University at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
