After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Casady, Bristow was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Cordell Blue Devils a 3-0 shutout. Bristow might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by three goals or more this season.

They hit Cordell with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alex Wilhite, Makynzi Spencer-Friday, and Ayana Bruner.

Bristow's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Cordell, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Bristow will be playing at home against Newkirk at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cordell, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-0 win against Alva on the 18th.
