Softball Recap: Willamina Comes Up Short

Willamina lost against Dayton back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Pirates, falling 14-4. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Willamina's loss dropped their record down to 16-6-1. As for Dayton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.

Willamina has already played their next game, an 11-1 victory against Amity on the 16th. As for Dayton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 15-0 win against Jefferson on the 15th.
