Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Sandburg walked away with it. They came out on top against the Timothy Christian Trojans by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Aaron Dennie paced Sandburg's offense, picking up 13 kills. Dennie got some help from Easton Donausky and his 19 assists. Dennie was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Sandburg's win bumped their record up to 33-4. As for Timothy Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-14.

Sandburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Riverside-Brookfield on the 29th. Timothy Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
