Basketball Recap: Farson-Eden Pronghorns vs. Rich Rebels

After flying high against Fort Washakie last Thursday, Farson-Eden came back down to earth. The Farson-Eden Pronghorns lost 54-34 to the Rich Rebels on Saturday. The Pronghorns were probably out for revenge after losing 43-30 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rich found their leader in sophomore Braylyn Pugmire, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pugmire has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Molly Weston, who posted nine points and five steals.

Farson-Eden's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Rich, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Farson-Eden will take on Little Snake River at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rich, they will square off against Tabiona at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Tabiona will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Rich surely won't give up without a fight.
