Granville dropped down to 9-14 on Monday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 12-4 to the Watkins Memorial Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-6 back in April.

Aubrey Lackey made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Carly Wollenberg, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run.

As for Watkins Memorial, they pushed their record up to 15-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their two-run performance the contest before.

On Watkins Memorial's side, the team relied heavily on Allison Langwasser, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. That's the most runs Langwasser has posted since back in April. Marissa Weber was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Granville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-1 defeat against Mt. Vernon on the 5th. As for Watkins Memorial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-0 victory against Heath on the 6th.
