Soccer Recap: Charleston Collegiate Takes a Loss

After soaring to seven goals the game before, Charleston Collegiate was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They came up short against the First Baptist School Hurricanes, falling 10-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Charleston Collegiate haven't been shut out since back in March.

Charleston Collegiate's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-8. As for First Baptist School, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Charleston Collegiate will take on Bridges Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Charleston Collegiate will need to watch out since Bridges Prep have now posted at least four goals in their last three games. As for First Baptist School, they will square off against Porter-Gaud at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
