Bloomington HomeSchool fought the good fight in their overtime match against Tabernacle Christian on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Tabernacle Christian Eagles by a score of 47-44. One positive for the Bobcats, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Tabernacle Christian found their leader in sophomore Liz Southerland, who posted 26 points. Another player making a difference was Lacy Southerland, who had 11 points.

Bloomington HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Tabernacle Christian, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5.

Bloomington HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tabernacle Christian, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Medora at 5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
