Softball Recap: Perry Central Takes a Loss

Perry Central lost against Hancock County back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Commodores fell 7-3 to the Hornets.

Perry Central has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Hancock County, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-8.

Coming up, Perry Central will face off against Tell City at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hancock County, they will challenge McLean County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.8 runs per game on average), something the Hornets will no doubt try to take advantage of.
