Volleyball Recap: Palm Beach Gardens Comes Up Short

Palm Beach Gardens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Atlantic Christian Sharks. The Gators were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Sharks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-14, 25-9.

Among those leading the charge was Jonathan Gonzalez, who had 27 assists and two aces. That's the most assists he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Palm Beach Gardens' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Atlantic Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Palm Beach Gardens will head out to square off against Palm Beach Lakes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Atlantic Christian, they will take on Sports Leadership & Management at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
