Softball Recap: Weiser Wolverines vs. Payette Pirates
Weiser won the last time they faced Payette and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wolverines put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 8-1 win. The Wolverines might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by seven runs or more this season.
Madi Janicek spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
