Baseball Game Preview: Vista Murrieta Broncos vs. Murrieta Valley Nighthawks

For the second straight game, Vista Murrieta will face off against Murrieta Valley. The Broncos will face off against the Nighthawks at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Vista Murrieta is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.

Vista Murrieta's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Murrieta Valley. The Broncos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

Vaughn Neckar made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
